Purple Star Staff Resources

Hopewell-Loudon Local School has supported local military families & veterans for many years. Our Veteran's Day celebration which began as a small ceremony has morphed into a multi-tiered day of celebrating the service and sacrifice that relatives of H-L have made. We accepted donations and collected funds to ship over 60 boxes to soldiers supporting Operation Iraqi Freedom & Operation Enduring freedom.

We also support local nursing homes to check on veteran residency. The caregivers and veterans create personalized wish lists for each veteran. Students in grades K-12 were invited to donate for veterans and their personalized requests.
